Quotes attributable to Dr Sureka Goringe, Executive Director of UnitingWorld on behalf of the Safer World for All campaign:

The world is facing unprecedented challenges. It is a critical time to reflect on and discuss the importance of Australian Aid and show candidates that Australians care about our region and beyond.”

“Currently at 0.68% of the federal budget, a restoration to previous levels of 1% will make a huge difference to the region and to the world’s most vulnerable. More people across the world with access to healthcare, water and food is an investment in peace and security for all.”

“Given the unprecedented challenges the world faces, now is a perfect opportunity for Australia to invest in a safer world.”
